BROAD OBJECTIVES

1. Community Development & Empowerment Initiatives, through

  1. Enhancing community mobilization and promoting the concept of community capacity enhancement;
  2. Ensuring partnership & networking of developmental organizations and bodies;
  3. Strengthening democratic, educational and ethical values;
  4. Promoting equality in resource access, acquisition and control, including land and seed capital
  5. Supporting physical community development efforts, disaster management, and mitigating negative environmental practices;
  6. Poverty reduction strategies and employment creation, including women and youth empowerment initiatives, skills acquisition/life vocational training, enterprise and career development services, micro-credit and insurance support.

2. Community and Reproductive Health-Care Services, through

  1. Provision of basic health infrastructures and equipments;
  2. Developing capacities of volunteers on health (including HIV, leprosy, tuberculosis, and malaria) and sanitation issues;
  3. Provision of continuum of preventive, care, treatment and support on community (environment, water and sanitation) and reproductive health;
  4. Gender mainstreaming and population activities management.
  5. Social marketing and distribution of non-prescriptive health and preventive commodities

3. Vulnerable Population Development, through

  1. Strengthening the capacity of vulnerable groups and caregivers;
  2. Mobilizing & strengthening community based responses;
  3. Providing basic needs and social protection, including education, health, psychosocial support, economic empowerment, income generation activities, and legal protection
